What virtual worlds teach us about the Metaverse

Benjamin Bertram Goldman presents on what the history of virtual worlds can teach us about our future in the Metaverse. If the Metaverse is a world changing technology, we must do more to understand it. Fortunately, we already know a great deal about the Metaverse thanks to the rich history of virtual worlds, which are a key component of the Metaverse. In this talk, Benjamin Bertram unpacks the history of virtual worlds and shares a few lessons that are useful to us at the dawn of the Metaverse.
